Essendon Fields
Essendon Fields is operated under a long-term lease acquired from the Federal Government in 2001 by Essendon Airport Pty Ltd, a joint venture between the Beck and Fox families.
Essendon Fields spans 305 hectares and is a master-planned commercial, aviation, and retail hub located just 10 km from Melbourne’s CBD. It is home to hundreds of businesses and thousands of workers.
The precinct has the capacity for significant further development and continues to grow across all major precinct components.
Major precinct components include:
- Essendon Fields Airport: A general aviation hub supporting corporate jets, emergency services, charter flights, and aircraft maintenance.
